MARKET WATCH (HANFORD, CALIFORNIA)— Talon Composites, a wholly owned subsidiary of Thresher industries, has received a US patent for the fabrication of their metal matrix material called Talbor®. Talon uses this material and technology to make shielding plates that achieve high neutron absorption utilizing a very fine grain structure and greater homogeneous disbursement of Boron.
